Thanks all for your feedback. The Mac Mini comes with 6-core i7 processor now
and I heard it’s super quiet. I think this could make a wonderful audio
workstation.

I first got it, without any kind of display adapter. It has an HDMI port,
and I had no issues. Thing didn’t run sluggishly, VO had no issues, etc. I
think, should you get that, or later, I don’t foresee any major issues.

I have used a number of minis over the years and I have found it best to
order the adapter just to be safe. You don’t want to get in to the
middle of a project and find out that you should have ordered one. IMHO.
