[macvoiceover] Blue tooth sync between iPhone and Mac

Trying to pair my Macbook Air with my iPhone via Blue Tooth, the pairing says
it is successful, the confirmation code comes up, but when I try to connect
under Settings, Blue Tooth, it says the device can’t connect, make sure the
device is in range. I’ve got it sitting on the table beside the computer.
Any thoughts on possible glitches with teh sync process?
