Hi
I think the new device will be better than the ipod touch for things like web browsing and email; it will be a larger touchscreen so easier to navigate big pages, emails, and music librarys. It's also quite cheap as well...

Hi,

First, I don't think it means much for the blind community. It seems to be a glorified iPod touch. It has no camera and no 3g. I think many people were expecting these things.

I just wonder if this new tablet is going to be more useful to us than an iPhone or iPod touch. Basically it seems like what's amazing about it is the larger display and higher quality picture, but other than that, wouldn't web browsing, email etc work just like they do in an iPod touch? So unless we are interested in being able to see stuff in larger print, what do you guys think this will do for us?
I basically have no idea, so excuse me if I'm being ignorant :).
