     You have to configure your iMessage on your phone to use your Apple ID as 
well as your telephone number.  Also, when you sent messages to other iDevice 
users, they have to have their devices configured similarly.  I read an article 
that described the process, but I am on my way out for the day.  If you have 
difficulties, please write me off list and I'll try to dig it up either later 
today or tomorrow.
