[mac4theblind] pain of a preview payne in lion mail:

all, under snow leopard and before the most recent update of lion, I was able
to kill the preview payne but now, I cannot. Here are my steps to see what I
am doing rong:
1> open mail
2> turn off cursor tracking
3> find and use vo to shrink both horrizontal splitters while interacting with
them although I think it is the one on the right.
4> stop interacting with the splitter
5> bring the mouse cursor to the vo cursor with vo-command-f5 (I'm using the
built-in trackpad on my macbook pro)
6> click the trackpad.
I also turn cursor tracking back on just before executing the command
(vo-shift-f5.
Help!
