OK. that's good to know. he'll need to launch bootcamp utility and create the newest version of the bootcamp drivers. there is however concerns raised by a number of apple users that the bootcamp drivers don't recognise a system so there's the odd hitch. have you or has he installed the latest VMWare tools package into windows? the other thing to do before running VMWare windows is this… go to the settings related to the VMWare machine you're using. tgo to the DVD / optical drive tab. it should see your USB superdrive as available, turn it on as a device and mount it. now use this as the primary CD drive and not the virtual drive it gives you. lew Edward Redfern Vintage Mower Restorer.
