It is a notification application that works with applications that are
configured to be able to do so. So, for example, with Adium, you can have
audio notifications for events. With Mars Edit, you can get audio
notifications for uploading a post successfully, etc. Dropbox will let you
know if files are added or removed from your public folder. Again, though, the
application has to work with Grow, but it is a handy thing to have.
