Hi Kim,

you can download the mac drop box app from http://www.dropbox.com
You should also be able to transfer files directly from your pc if the mac and
the pc are connected to a router.

How are you connecting your external hd to your mac? What kind of external hd
do you have? If the files show up at all, they should be copyable. we may be
able to help with this.

Hello all,
I have had mixed success lately with the mac. Thanks to all for your help I
did delete some things from downloads and did transfer a few files using a
memory stick but could not do it using the bigger usb disk I have. Guess it
can't read that type. Will have to find another way to transfer files. Could
e-mail them but that takes a lot of time. I have dropbox on my pc and on my
iphone and ipod. Is there a mac app for it or can I put it on my mac just from
the web site?
This would be another way to transfer files.
Kim
