I don’t know if apple’s remote service offers remotly to do something on
one’s ios device that the owner cannot do for themselves.
He has a window’s system not a mac.
He has a close friend in another country trying to problem solve this
issue,but without being where he is,the choices are very limited.

he h verified that the 6s does take the latest update.
The update seems to download fine, then there is an update failed
error, and the phone goes back to download and install.
things we have tried include.
1. deleting the downloaded update and restarting the phone.
2. doing a hard reset.
3. resetting network settings.
4. erasing the phone and setting it up as a new iPhone.
Looked on google and we could ’t find any other options.
The only other option we could find is using iTunes and updating with
a pc.
Trouble is that my friend has had a stroke and cannot use a pc and he
doesn’t have iTunes.
so does anyone know of anything else we can try?
