If you use this gesture to copy, how do you then paste the text into another
place? Thanks.

And remember that is the universal pasteboard as well. So, you can copy
from the iPhone and paste to your Mac or vice versa.

Another gesture you could try is: use three fingers and tap very quickly
four times. VoiceOver should say copied to paste board.
Do note though: that this will copy everything though that VoiceOver will
speak.
What I mean is that even if VO read the WiFi password, if you've got
anything else on that line of text. VO is going to copy everything though.
Just something to keep in mind. You can always paste it, sort the editing
out and re copy the info you want. In which case, you may as well just
copied it your way nevertheless, it's a handy gesture for copying a number,
email etc.
Hope this additional info is of some help to you.

Hi Sarah, Actually, it did work. I ended up using text selection in the
rotor since I don’t know how to do the pinch gesture to select text the
old way.

I don't think you will be able to past the test in the wifi field unless
you use a bt keyboard, at least I have never gotten that to work.
Take care.

Hello,
I need to copy and paste a somewhat long WiFi password. I know how to
use the text selection option in the rotor, but it seems like that
might not be the most reliable way since the option does not always
come up in certain situations. Therefore, would it be better to set
the rotor to characters or words and use the pinch gesture to select
the desired text? I have never selected text this way before, so if
this is the fastest way, could someone explain how to do it?
Kind Regards,
Kelsey Nicolay
