Hello John, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. After listening to Mike's presentation of the numpad commander, I was also thinking that a numpad would be a good thing. Thanks for your opinion on that. Am I right in thinking that there is no numpad on any of the Macbooks, especially the Macbook pro? I'm assuming the laptops don't have a numpad per se. I'm sure some folks will share their observations, but I can say, from experience, that a numeric pad is not necessarily a requirement, but it is very useful. In particular, when you become comfortable with the Mac, the NumPad commander is a very nice feature that will enable you to map more complex VoiceOver keyboard commands to numeric pad keys. For example, I have done so with a lot of web navigation keyboard commands, such as opening the web item rotor and moving to web spots. However, this is something you will have to decide on your own, but I do recommend it. Lion was released in July of this year. There is some debate over whether or not Siri will be included in the Mac OS at some point. I personally think they will, as it makes sense. Nevertheless, that is all speculation at this stage. In any event, please feel free to ask questions and pick our brains. Take Care John D.
