Hello, The spellchecker, as far as doing an entire document check, is universal on the Mac. The command-: combination will initiate it. There are also several adjustments you can make as far as automatically checking your spelling as you type and such,, which can be accessed from the edit menu and the spelling sub menu. There is a font menu when you are working on a document, but I have not messed with it much. What you need might be found there, though. Cutting and pasting is a matter of selecting text and using the appropriate commands. Please let me know specifically what you are trying to do. Creating and saving documents, again, is pretty straight forward. You might be getting thrown off because the template chooser comes up when you open a new document. Just hit the enter key to use a blank template. Again, please let me know what your specific questions are. Take Care John D.
