Port 445: Last week we reported new sightings of probing to port 445,
Microsoft-DS: Something new every day ... what's 445/tcp? According to
IANA it's an assigned number for Microsoft-DS; but what is MS-DS?
Several sources on the web suggest that it is used by WINS to locate
other servers. So is this a well known vulnerability someone's trying to
exploit or is there something new in the making? More logs (from a
personal firewall) at http://www.sans.org/y2k/011800-1030.htm. Comments
on this? I e-mailed the contact last week with no answer. Anyone?

Inoltre si riferisce a ME e non a XP
