There are 'interesting' things going on in Sudan. As
we learn from the Yahoo report, the government of the
so-called The National Islamic Front has sent: "over
20,000 Muslim militiamen, called Janjaweed, or "men on
horseback," to carry out attacks on civilians from the
Fur, Masaalit, and Zaghawa ethnic groups..."

But those ethnic groups are also Muslim. Apparently,
the religion of the militiamen is relevant, while the
religion of the other side is not. It is further odd
that the government has simultaneously arrested Hassan
al-Turabi, the leader of the supposedly Islamist
Popular Congress party:

Obviously the Sudanese government must be out on some
kind of Jihad.
