RR was a diligent actor who would carefully rehearse his lines at night and show up early at the set. Flynn would stumble in late, hungover, need prompts--and then steal the scene ... because he was Errol Flynn. During the filming of "Charge of the Light Brigade," Flynn could not restrain his pique at the overly serious actor. In a scene where RR and Errol Flynn were both mounted on horses, Flynn stuck a lance up the backside of RR's horse, causing it to charge wildly away. On the other hand, Flynn did a lot to teach young moviegoers of his time about courage and honor. ------------------------------------------------------------------ To change your Lit-Ideas settings (subscribe/unsub, vacation on/off, digest on/off), visit www.andreas.com/faq-lit-ideas.html
