Who was the main philosopher of the Nazis ? It seems that it wasn't Heidegger, but rather Nietzsche as re-edited by his sister Elizabeth and selectively reinterpreted by Nazi scholars like Alfred Baumler. To what extent Nietzsche's philosophy, with its love of hyperbolic expression and lack of a coherent system, lends itself to such interpretation is debatable.
