Methinks me has squirrels in me attic.  What one does about that is  unclear.

Eric, from Fowler's Modern English Usage, 2nd  edn:

This nicely illustrates Paul Stone's point that quotation marks make  all 
the difference. I mean, what if I were to attack me?
