Strongly recommend _The Two Marxisms_, by Irving Gouldner, especially
the last chapter, "Nightmare Marxism." It is a Marxist critique of
Marxism showing how the internal contradictions of Marx's utopian scheme
surfaced in drafting Das Kapital, and how both Karl and his cash-cow and
editor, Fred Engels, chose to ignore them.
