You realize that to a Mother this sounds absolutely Utopian....
<<Dead runners are cleaned up with a chemical that exterminates all trace of
them on the spot. No landfills to worry about. No food or animals growing
either, so no pollution. It wasn't clear how they ate.>>

Andy asks: "What seasons would you expect to find in a domed city where
no one has ever seen the sun?"

Dirty Dome and Clean Dome seasons, with Dome Cleaning Time as the
interstitial holiday?

Suspecting that "Dirty Dome" would be the dominant season,
Eric

The city is Disney World spotless. Dead runners are cleaned up with a
chemical that exterminates all trace of them on the spot. No landfills to
worry
about. No food or animals growing either, so no pollution. It wasn't clear
how they ate. People got their jollies from yelling "renew!" "renew!" as
30-year olds were periodically "renewed" in a theatre. Kind of a cool place
to
live.
