My apologies for attacking you in error -- "dirty pool" should indeed
be addressed to Mike (if he was only forwarding some of the posts;
otherwise it is merely a breach of etiquette akin to cross-posting,
but still, one I don't like).

No, Eric. Not even a personal attack. I have complained about this
type of behaviour on other lists.

I've done that too; unfortunately this list's default (the
freelists.org default?) seems to be that Reply goes to a poster, Reply
to All to the list and the poster (and yes, any people cc'd). It's a
difficult default for me whether I'm using voice software or typing.
