A.A.  How many couples can survive on one income?  How many cars today cost
under $20,000, half a year's salary for the average person?  Houses are
becoming prohibitive for first time home buyers.  What does a college
education cost today?  Etc. etc.  It's more expensive to be an American
than it used to be.
