So yeah, people would be alive after an al-Qaeda style attack that fortunately didn't escalate into a global inferno, would have some sort of government for a while at least in some parts, would likely call it the US until some other country took over ... but really. Katrina predictions were not that dire either.


I like Phil, but he sometimes writes as though from another world. Plus he sometimes, admittedly rarely, uses terms like "Islamic nations" and "al-Qaeda" in motley ways as suit his mood or rhetoric. Odd for a philosopher.

I also like Mike. Who doesn't? And John McCreery too. Also have no problem with the Sufi center unless it turns out to be a recruitment center for the bad guys ... in which case it should be burned down.
