[Linux-Discussion] serial console

Ok, I've got the serial console working on my linux box. My question /
problem that I am running into is that I am unable to login to my machine
as root from the serial console.
Is that a 'security' feature?? I am thinking it might be, but not 100%
positive.
Any suggestions / comments??
