Portable Document Format (PDF) for the server

Portable Document Format (PDF) is the recognized
standard for several categories of top-quality
displayable output. PDF generally prints well; only a
plain text document is more likely to be compatible
with any particular printer. Using a SaveAs operation
can make your document management processes more
powerful through server-side automation of PDF
creation. This article introduces the ReportLab
library for PDF management and programming. It goes
over the programmatic PDF generation, PDF's "Hello,
World", and putting together PDF pieces.
