Well, actually *wanting* to use Netbios instead of IP is just about the
funniest thing I've heard in the last five minutes, but *why* is it that
they want it setup that way?

I thought that even under windows they no longer had a separate protocol,
and that it was all encapsulated with IP anyway.  Is that not the case?  If
not, you're out of luck with Samba - I don't think there's even support for
the protocol under linux.

Explain to them though that if they use IP, there's this great new thing
called "the internet" that they'll be able to use.  Once they're on "the
internet," they'll forget about this silly netbios thing...
