[Linux-Discussion] How to setup the telnet??

How can I setup the telnet on linux m/c. I have a linux and 98 m/c connected
on a network. I am able to ping 98 m/c from linux but not linux m/c from 98,
it returns "Request timed out" msg. on 98.
I am not bale to use telnet on 98 to connect to the linux server.
any help??

I fixed the eth0 problem earlier. it was an onboad nic card on my dell m/c
and was disabled from the bios.
