Hi,

Try this. Let's see if it works. Go to A's "/etc/hosts.allow" file and put in
there "ALL : ALL", and go into "/etc/hosts.deny" file and
take out "ALL : ALL" if it is there.

Then do kill -HUP inetd, i.e., get the pid of inetd, say it is 319. "kill
-HUP 319". Then try to telnet.

Or go into host A's "/etc/inet.conf" file and take out the first "#" sign in
the line with "telnet". Do this one first. Try telnet. If it does
not work, then try the one above.

What does everyone think?

Robert A.
