I don't know if it changes something, but I've extracted kernel headers from 2.6.7.11-ep93xx kernel source tree, in order to be more coherent.
Several months ago I talked about this matter in the linux-arm ml.

Actually we did not talk about tool chain building. We talked about user applications building only :(
