[Linux-Anyway] Uh...Alt+F1, etc?

Wouldn't you know it, gnome changed the common mapping for
Linux Alt F+whatever, so I don't get desktops, I get utilities.
Don't think I'll be sticking with gnome.
While I'm in it though, anyone know how to make those keys do
the desktop switching like pre-gnome2x?
