well, got it. That clarifies things some. The use of the en-us-brf.dis
does not help here as say, caps sign and other punctuation is not
being represented with the correct dots in this case. But at least
that gives me something to work with.. in the mean time, assuming the
display table does not exist for my language... using unicode.dis
proved to be quite a disaster though.

No, the "en-us-" part does not really mean anything, that file is just
the BRF standard (which happens to be based on the US braille standard).
why braille-patterns file should be included?
Just in case your document contains unicode braille patterns.
