I have added a pull request for a bug I have found in file2brl where the path was added to the filename sent to liblouisutdml then the path was added again in liblouisutdml. I don't know if this is just the way I had to tweak liblouisutdml to get an external link to the logMessage or this is unique to Windows, so can the Mac and linux users please check whether this breaks the log creation through file2brl. I wish I could check it but I can't. the '-w' writable path for log file and the temp file is a requirement according to the help in file2brl.

Now I have this working and if there are no issues with other OSes then I can distribute windows EXEs and DLLs.

Thanks
Paul
