Hi Christian,
Ok, problem solved now. It turned out that libyaml-dev was actually not
properly installed, so that helped.
I am currently making totally new yaml tests for the Danish tables with
focus on contracted 8 dots and back-translation. So, hopefully, we can skip
the rather long dictionary tests, which are not very useful anyway.
Best regards and thanks
Bue

Hmm, strange. I have these two packages installed, but lou_checkyaml
says skipping test as libyaml was not found.
After installing the packages I rebuilt Liblouis, but it didn't make
any difference.
Have you actually also run ./configure inside liblouis or just `make` (after
installing libyaml-dev)? configure should check for yaml.h in the usual
places and if it finds it it should set up the source so that it uses
libyaml.
