My name is Angarag, and I am from Mongolia.
I am writing to this mailing list, in hopes of shedding some light
upon an issue that we are noticing only now regarding Mongolian table.
When we created Mongolian table, we included en-ueb-g1.utb in
Mongolian table in hopes of adopting braille patterns for signs,
symbols and punctuations of ueb in Mongolian braille.
However, when it comes to back-translation, we recently found out that
there are conflicting issues between Mongolian and en-ueb-g1. When we
type braille input using orbit reader,
it shows that letters which have same dot patterns in both alphabet,
they conflict and en-ueb-g1 is written instead of desired Mongolian
cyrillic alphabet.
I have tried to solve this issue by comparing other languages which
use cyrillic letters same as Mongolian, but i found that that
Bolgarian and Russian languages both defined latin letters with
additional dot patterns to avoid this conflict, as much as to
differentiate them from one another.
Is there any other way to solve this issue? preferably without
excluding the en-ueb table.
