Hello list!

I wonder if it somehow could be possible to port liblouis to Symbian
OS. The reason for asking, is that some braille drivers for screen
readers like Talks&>ooms for mobile phones based on the Symbian 60
platform uses to provide at least forward grade two translation.
However, this only works for widely used languages like English and
some others. If liblouis could be available, it would be a great
improvement, as it provides back- and forward translation into many
languages.

Handy Tech are currently working on a new braille driver for their
displays, and that driver is based upon Nokia's Python implementation
on Symbian 60. Would it be hard to port liblouis, do you think?

Lars
