Firstly I have know knowledge of the Portuguese language and I'm trying to
correct the pt-pt-g1.utb table for a user of my project. My project
essentially converts Braille to text on the fly as you type.
Sadly I've had to comment out rules and change the odd dot combination to
get a lot of the tables working for this.
However, I've run into an interesting problem with Portuguese. As I
understand it ordinal numbers are written like this:
3456-2-135 for 1º
3456-2-1 for 1ª
In other words the number sign is used, and digits are written in the lower
cells. Finally, the ordinal indicator is specified. 135 for masculine and 1
for feminine.
So I defined the digits in the lower cells as litdigits and this solves
half the problem. The masculine case is fine since I changed the > sign.
However, a litdigit context for dot 1 is actually the number 1... What is
the best way to resolve this conflict?
My project depends on lou_backtranslate working correctly as well.
