[liblouis-liblouisxml] Can't compile liblouisutdml

Hi,

I run autogen and then ./configure.

Autogen seems to go ok, but after some 190 lines the configure process exits
with the following 2 lines.

./configure: line 15709: syntax error near unexpected token
`BASE_DEPENDENCIES,'
./configure: line 15709: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(BASE_DEPENDENCIES, liblouis >=
3.0.0, libxml-2.0)'

Both liblouis and libxml should be installed on my system.

Any good ideas?
