Of course there is a better fix: It entails writing a small test case in
C and running it through valgrind. This is described in the HACKING file
and there are some examples in the tests directory (such as
squash_space.c or typeform.c).

This would be a great project. There are lots of little memory overuns
in liblouis waiting to be fixed.
