Can you duplicate the problem with a smaller texture? And then privately send me the texture file and TER file so that I can try duplicating the problem here?

Hi Ray, In the past I used several programs to convert SRTM heightdata geotiff files and SRTM satelite image geotiff files into DEM files and (after cropping) corresponding geotiff image files. Instead of needing all these other programs to get the files I want, I now try to use Leveller 261 to do it all. With Leveller I can select an area from a geotiff srtm and export it to DEM, I can project the satelite geotiff image on it as georeferenced texture, works great! I can then select an area and crop it, saving the cropped DEM, works flawlessly The only thing is that if I want to save the texture after cropping a overlayed SRTM geotiff, I get an filesystem error on saving it as geotiff. Maybe I am doing something wrong... The satelite image I use as texture is huge, 210 MB, made with MultiSpecW32.exe, to get all the channel data from the sat. images into one real-color-geotiff image. This is what I tried to do: Load the GEO heightdata tiff in Leveller view-texture...geotiff sat image as texture..use coordinate system tagged view-scene appearance....mountain-icon....overlays..texture tagged view...map-pane...appearance...heightfield....texure tagged selection...select none....selection tool....select area in map pane edit...crop file....export the DEM file....output....Georeferenced texture...save the texture there as a geotiff...this gives an error (filesystem problem) view--map pane--export to bitmap---select Tiff/GEOtiff...this gives also the same error (filesystem problem) Do you know what is causing this error? The original dem is .tif, I cropped it in 3dem and saved as .ter. Usually when I do this I also save the crop as a .dem, so I can overlay orthoimagery and crop it to the exact terrain. This time I did not savethecropped dems so I hoped that by loading the ter I could recover a dem. Is there's a better way to overlay georeferenced imagery and crop it allinLeveller? I want to wind up iwth a /ter for TG2 and a set of cropped orthophotos for texturing. I'm not sure if Terragen.ter files contain all (if any) correct GEO coordinates or projection info to work with in this manner. I tried this but couldnt get the dem to open. Is there documentation on how to do it? I forget the exact error it threw, something like No bounds set...
