Leveller 2.5 alpha now at build 1207. http://www.daylongraphics.com/products/leveller/download/lev25a.zip - Scene pane buffers OpenGL output better. If you experience slowdowns, it means your OpenGL driver or video card implements glReadPixels poorly. Leveller used to cache OpenGL output by simply reading the window contents after drawing was done; now it reads the GL backbuffer before it is blitted to the window. However, if your video card assumes false pixel ownership for any parts of the scene pane obscured by other windows (e.g., like a filter plug-in dialog), then the render cache will contain undefined data (usually part of an older rendering). Cards which maintain full buffers and ignore pixel ownership will work better. Ray
