Great shot of an unusual event. did number 78 win by an inclined bike
length or a level bike length? Accuracy is important. :-)
Only on criticism. Perhaps at a slower shutter it would look like there was
more action. At that shutter speed you froze them almost as if they were
just propped up and not moving along at a wicked speed.

Subject: [LRflex] Wheelie races...
When the official ice racing was over, last Sunday, a few of the boys
decided to have one more, rather informal race.
We've all seen, if not in person at least on TV or in the movies,
motorcyclists doing "Wheelies".
A very few of us get to see them do it, on ice.
But, I have never seen three motorbikes race down a 1000ft (305m)
straightaway, at speeds of around 40 to 45mph (65 to 70kph), on ice, while
doing wheelies! In fact, I'd never even heard of anyone attempting such as
stunt.
But, here they are...

And, um, number 78 won by about a bike length.
Comments welcome.
David.
