G'Mornin' Peter!

No, I don't put my Ice Racing images in the gallery.  I tried it, at the
beginning, but no one was interested.

Merritt is a rodeo town, having spawned a number of great bull riders over the
years.  But even then,  I can count the number of rodeo images sold on the
fingers of one hand, with several digits left over!

Wildlife shots - owls, elk, eagles, etc., are my bread & butter.

Glad you liked the shots.  :-)  Thanks for looking & commenting.

David.

The clarity and timing of your images are always impressive and fun,
David. Do any of your ice racing images make it into prints for
retailing down at the artist cooperative? I would think that some of the
racers or their family members would be potential purchasers - much like
the young cowboy that you mentioned a few months back. :) Great work.
Thank you.

Best regards,
Peter S.

When the official ice racing was over, last Sunday, a few of the boys

We've all seen, if not in person at least on TV or in the movies,
motorcyclists doing "Wheelies".

A very few of us get to see them do it, on ice.

But, I have never seen three motorbikes race down a 1000ft (305m)
straightaway, at speeds of around 40 to 45mph (65 to 70kph),  on ice,
while doing wheelies!  In fact, I'd never even heard of anyone
attempting such as stunt.

But, here they are...

And, um, number 78 won by about a bike length.

Comments welcome.

David.
