Andy,

During WW II, a woebegone, emaciated white Persian cat showed up at our
doorstep and we took the poor critter in and promptly named him Tuesday. Why?

Because we were all observing Meatless Tuesdays as part of the war effort and
the cat was certainly "meatless."

He lived to a ripe old age though he lost his tail in a fight.

Bill
