Hi Xavier!
Although you "blame" me for introducing you to Silkypix, I no longer use it. I
am very much enjoying RawTherapee ... an open source, free, raw developer.
Their claim to fame is 96 bit math, which makes it a wee bit slower - along the
lines of Silkypix, but they claim it gives a more accurate colour. It seems to
do so.
Like Aram, I downloaded your RAF file, and developed it in RawTherapee (v
4.2.1), with nothing other than the defaults. For fun, I also ran the
developed jpg through LUCID, a low cost (US$29), auto-tweaker.
I cannot find a list of supported cameras ... their documentation says
only:"Wide variety of supported cameras: almost all DSLRs and even some medium
format bodies are supported."
But the results look good to me, and I cannot find any trace of the artifacts
you mention.
See for yourself....
The developed jpg (warning, a modem eater ... 11 mb) in full size is here:

and the tweaked (8mb) version is here:

I will be interested to hear what others find right/wrong with the RT versions
of Xavier's image.
David.
