Hi Mike, I have a T4 mount Vivitar 4.5/75-260 for Canon FD sitting next to my keyboard, from what I've seen so far, a pretty good zoom despite its age. Finding other mounts (except, strangely enough, for Minolta) is almost impossible - I've looked almost everywhere on the web. Apparently the T4 and TX mounts were an attempt by Soligor and Vivitar that was later overshadowed by Tamron's Adaptall system. Also recently took possession of a Vivitar 4.5/400, it came with an almost mint Canon A1 I bought very cheaply, which was followed very rapidly by another A1 recently CLAed with replaced light seals and mirror buffer in absolutely mint condition. Maybe Doug Herr knows something about the quality (or lack of it) of the 400.
