Aram,

I am sorry, my queries were addressed specifically to your phrase that I quoted:

> My 100 APO on the R8…

I have known that Leica made an adapter for R lenses to fit onto an M body but
I have never seen one or known anyone who has used one until your mention of:

> My 100 APO on the R8…

and perhaps you are not using the Leica adapter at all but some other device.

So my questions were around how you were able to mount the 100 APO on the M8
and your experience with that combination, and secondly, have you mounted one
of the three Leica Vario-Elmar zoom lenses on it, a 21-35, a 35-70 or a 80-20.

Sorry I was not more precise and thanks in advance for any information you care
to share because to me it is an intriguing way to use orphaned R lenses in a
digital mode, other than using Leitax adapters for any one of a variety of
camera bodies.

All the best,

Bill
