Remarkable and wonderful.
I haven’t done wet chemistry developing since about 1948 but remember it well.
We were taught to load the film strips (usually 620) onto the holders from the
inside out, i.e, snap the end of the film into the core of the reel and wind
the rest from inside to outside.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I can smell the hypo to this day.

They ran a few moments of almost black, to simulate the darkness, when
loading the tanks. But when I heard the unmistakable sound of film being
wound onto the reels, in the dark, I automatically began to smile.
I guess you really never get the fixer out of your hair!
If you've only ever done digital photography, watch the video,, just to see
how it was done in the old days.
