A little tiny dot of Elmer's glue will do the job nicely. Just be sure
to leave it alone for 24 hours and it will be plenty strong.
Even if you're caught in the rain, the camera itself will sustain more
damege before any water can get to all of the glue.

The off-gassing WILL cause a permanent clouding of any elements anywhere near the glue!!
I can say this with great authority. (A 90 Summicron R lens).
