Doug - is this start of a flame-war on who is the better idiot? I bet I can beat you! Yep, it's bad enough knowing I'm an idiot on those occasions when I'm not just being a dolt. Plenty of people are never hesitant to remind me. I just wasn't expecting Leica to be part of the crowd! Sounds like R8 Knobitis has struck a chord. If Leica is listening, maybe they will include some black tape with each new camera. Lacking that, why didn't they just FIX IT with the R9? The trouble with making camera controls idiot-proof is that someone is always going to make a better idiot! Seriously, I was surprised the R8 didn't have locking controls since Leica supposedly leared this lesson and corrected it with the R4sP. Another example of history repeating itself.
