In Sicily, we visited Villa Casale, an early 4th Century Roman villa. It
has an incredible collection of well-preserved mosaics. Here's one: A
scene from the Polyphemus story from Homer's Odyssey. The Romans
changed the story a bit--note that the giant has not one, but three
eyes, and he devoured a ram rather than several of Odysseus' comrades.
