Thnaks for the feed back David

As said by Philippe, yourself and others, I have trouble with vertical shot.

I'll correct those. Thanks.---------------------------------Xavier F. BILLE

Hello La Gang! I decided to spoil mee-self and went to Venice. In fact, this
city has been photographed a Zillion times and my pictures are uniques...to me
only. However here is the first one, moody atmosphr before the Spritz at the
local Café http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/Venise/_1040491_dev.jpg And
alternate, light is too harsh,
no?http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/Venise/_1040565_dev.jpgC&C welcomed as I have
some trouble to develop them better. Good morning, Xavier!I like both shots.
However, the first is lacking in contrast ... due to the overcast sky.
Increasing the black level (in Silkypix) or adjusting the curves (PS or Corel)
should do it, but a light hand is all that is needed. The second is, to my mind,
the nicer shot ... but the buildings are all leaning to the right, a wee bit!
I thought this was Venice, not Pizza! ;-) A quick correction in PS, SP or
Corel will do it!It seems you had a good time (and, at least, some good
weather!).Cheers!
